AAA Assurance donates VND100 million to National Week for Vietnamese Women

The AAA Assurance Corporation has decided to contribute VND100 million to the organizing board of the National Week for Vietnamese Women in March 2010.

Vietnamese companies in general, and AAA Assurance in particular, feel honorable and happy with the care of central and local State leaders for women through the organization of a meaningful event, Madam Do Thi Kim Lien, General Director of AAA Assurance Corporation, told the organizing board.

Besides cash donation, AAA Assurance will provide its products such as Global Medical Insurance, Global Travel Insurance and Lady Care Insurance for women, Madam Lien said.
Madam Lien also committed that with the role of South African Honorary Consul in Ho Chi Minh City, she would publicize more information about the manners and communication culture of the South African people to help Vietnamese businesses be more confident in exchange activities to tightening Vietnam-South Africa diplomatic ties and cooperation with South African partners.

The National Week for Vietnamese Women will be held in Hanoi and HCMC from March 1 to 8, 2010. The organizers are the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnam Women Union.

This is a nation-scale important event to celebrate Vietnam’s major holidays like the 100th anniversary of the International Women Day (March 8), the 1,970th anniversary of Hai Ba Trung (two Trung sisters) Uprising and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

It aims to review the glorious history of Vietnamese women through periods; create conditions for Vietnamese women to meet and exchange with women of other countries; honor Vietnamese businesspeople who have made great contribution to the building of the Vietnamese brand on the international market and who have gained excellent achievements during the country’s global economic integration process; establish diplomatic and cooperative ties with international women to boost business activities for prosperity and sustainable development.

On this occasion, 100 typical Vietnamese businesswomen will be honored and awarded the Golden Rose Cup. Six top leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State will be presented the Golden Rose badge in recognition of their support for Vietnamese businesspeople to affirm their important roles in both families and business activities.

The award presentation ceremony will be organized at the National Conference Center in Hanoi in the evening of March 6 and broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s VTV1 channel.
