On May 4, 2010, the AAA Assurance Corporation, the Saigon Businesswomen Club and the American doctor Eugene Kaplan held a consultation workshop on genitourinary diseases in women.
Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Eugene Kaplan said stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a kind of involuntary leakage of urine which often occurs in women. The disease is a social issue and personal hygiene. Urinary incontinence is not a normal part of old age, but is a medical problem. Symptoms of SUI include taking or lifting something heavy, sneezing, coughing, or increased pressure from the abdomen and/or a spasm of detrusor muscle. Causes are injury of surgery or of the pelvic floor nerve while giving birth, hereditary sensitivity (the contraction of muscle), behavioral characteristics (smoking, obesity, career), impact of internal diseases (chronic lung disease, old age, estrogen deficiency) etc. With more than 12 years of work experience in the urological and gynecological sector and pelvic floor rehabilitation, Dr. Kaplan, who is working for the Center for Advanced Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation in Walnut Creek, California, has made modern technology transfers and given lectures in the sector in many countries such as Russia, the United States, Mexico and Vietnam. Surgery conducted by Dr. Kaplan is the most advanced method now, helping women maintain good health and protect family happiness. AAA Assurance |
